Dr. Jeffrey T. Kozlowski
Dr. Kozlowski has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for over a decade. He graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University in 1992, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1996 from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dentistry where he also completed a residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, graduating in 1998.
Dr. Kozlowski is a member of many leading orthodontic and dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Connecticut State Dental Society. He has been published in several orthodontic journals, including Seminar in Orthodontics, the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, Clinical Impressions, and The Progressive Orthodontist Magazine.
As a certified Damon System educator and a lead developer of Insignia custom braces, Dr. Kozlowski has become an internationally sought after speaker. He lectures extensively to orthodontists all over the world on various topics, including efficiency and excellence in orthodontics, early treatment, facial esthetics, and computerized custom braces. He has made presentations at meetings hosted by the American Association of Orthodontists, Northeast Society of Orthodontics, Massachusetts Society of Orthodontics, North American Damon Forum, as well as numerous other dental societies, universities, study clubs and alumni organizations.
He believes strongly in health and fitness and has devoted considerable time to his athletic endeavors. At Syracuse University, he was a varsity swimmer and rower, and used this athletic background to become an endurance athlete. Since finishing his orthodontic residency, Dr. Kozlowski has completed five Ironman Triathlons (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile marathon run), more than a dozen Half-Ironman Triathlons, numerous marathons, and endurance cycling events, including finishing the Mt. Washington Bicycle Hill Climb six times.
He currently resides in East Lyme, CT with his wife, Amy, a pediatric dentist, and their two children: Amelia and Jake.
